Runesword II is an RPG designed to appeal to “pen and paper” role-players, RuneSword II comes with two full-length adventures and a construction set.

In the pen and paper games, RuneSword II has both its influences and its feel. You’ll find the standard Strength, Agility, and Intelligence ability scores, but you’ll also find vices like Greed, Lust, Lunacy, and more. There’s turn-based combat that emphasizes strategic fun over endlessly clicking the hordes to death. There’s an epic sweep to the background story, but characters are caught up in regional events, discussing strange occurences with the locals. There are puzzles to challenge you, with multiple solutions and hints in certain places.

The demo offers 500 turns (approx. 3 hours of gameplay) but you cannot save in the creator. This updated version includes all the recent code fixes that have been added to the full game.
