Tired of the normal first-person action games that don’t let you keep your character’s statistics or let him grow? Want intense 3D-accelerated graphics that let you feel the dozens of spells firing around you? Want special arenas custom designed to add realism and strategy to every match? Then Spellbinder: The Nexus Conflict is the game for you.

Based on the Rolemaster tabletop role-playing game from Iron Crown Enterprises, Spellbinder will give you all the action of a first-person shooter, but also the depth of a role-playing game. Your character will be persistent and will grow with every match played, learning new and deadlier spells along the way.

You will be able to choose from three different character professions: The deadly Magician, the helpful Healer, and the elusive Mystic. Each have their own spells and defenses, which they use to overcome enemy mages in their attempt to take over the other team’s Nexus, the source of a team’s power in the match. A fourth class, the Runemage, will be added in the near future.

Developed by Mythic Entertainment, Spellbinder: the Nexus Conflict is now available on the Centropolis Gaming Center as part of its open beta program. It will support all popular 3D accelerator cards.
